Well, after a good night's rest and a shower this morning I felt like I was going to have a great day. And then it got even better! I talked to my doctor and I now have a scheduled c-section date for February 23! I can't even express how excited I was just to have a date in mind! Now we just have to work on getting there :) Also, since the baby has been monitoring well and I have no bleeding, I was cleared today to have "kitchen privileges." This means I can walk about 20 feet down the hall to get my own ice water or snacks! This is a big deal when you've been confined to a bed. Also, starting tomorrow I get to go to the pool! They have pool times twice a day...I'll be picked up in a wheel chair and taken to the pool for an hour. I'm not sure what exactly I get to do in the pool, but it will eat up some of my day and I'll get some new scenery! All very exciting for me!
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard until now (as I read your blog) everything that was going on with you. God has placed you in my mind several times recently, and I remembered reading back when you "weren't feeling well," so I'd shout out a prayer for you and your little. Please know that you will be continually in my prayers.
