31 Weeks and All Is Well!

I had another appointment today and all went well. It was pretty routine...baby's heartbeat sounds good and the doc is not worried about movement because the baby gave her a swift kick when she was pushing around on my stomach. :) That's the way we like em! Also, she said it looks like I'll have another good-sized baby...anyone surprised about that? That just seems to be the way we grow them. Baby is measuring at 32 weeks now although I didn't actually gain any weight this past week.

Another bit of good news came as we reviewed the blood sugar test results I've been collecting for the past week. I only had 2 that were too high, but not seriously high. She said for now it looks like my body is responding to the diet treatment well and I won't have to take pills or do insulin shots for the time being. Yahoo! Big answer to prayer right there! I did get a new meter since the diabetic counselor messed up and gave me one that my insurance doesn't cover. Who knew it was so expensive to buy those teeny little testing strips that you bleed on and throw away! So we traded them out today, but now I have to spend a few minutes figuring out how to use this one.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support of my family! Sounds like Andy is doing an awesome job with the boys, and thanks to my parents and some very dear friends they are all surviving without me! Can you imagine? Ha ha! I do miss them so much and am really praying that things will work out for a visit this weekend.
