Memories...

I'm realizing that I do miss some things from the hospital...and some things I don't miss at all.
For example:

Milk out of a carton...DON'T MISS!...doesn't even taste like milk, just tastes like cardboard.

Food service....MISS!..."Do you have a dirty tray?" "Why yes I do." "Okay, I'll take it out of your way." Oh yes...I miss that. And..."I'd like to order some lunch." "What would you like?" ...."Okay, I'll send it up!" Oh yeah...that was nice.

Knocks on my door every 20 minutes, or getting woke up every 4 hours through the night...DON'T MISS! Its much nicer to wake up every 3 hours to a sweet baby then it is to someone scanning my arm band, giving me meds, taking vitals, etc.

Sole control of the remote...on demand movies...MISS!

Uninterrupted ample time to read my Bible...MISS!

Being confined to my bed...DON'T MISS!

Having to ask for an IV wrap and wait for it just to take a shower...DON'T MISS!

Daily soaks in a 98 degree pool...MISS!
